Resin Floor Systems

Of the different types of Resin Floor systems used for Anti Slip Applications, Epoxy & Polyurethane are the most widely used in the UK and there are a range of floor products available for each type with varying thickness, finishes & colours.

Self-smoothing, epoxy resin seamless floor finish.

Combining outstanding wearing properties with chemical resistance and aesthetically pleasing. Used where maximum cleanliness is essential and where jointed finishes are not acceptable i.e. food processing, laboratories, operating theatres and other industrial flooring & commercial flooring situations.

Shotblasting of total area to remove laitance or contamination.
Applied a resin floor system consisting of water based epoxy resin floor coating followed by a High-build solvent free epoxy resin coating in choice of manufacturers colours.
Typical thickness 200 to 500 microns.

Anti-slip finishes are achieved by thorough floor preparation followed by a clear or coloured resin floor systems application with the introduction of a scatter of bauxite or carborundum onto the surface. The larger the scatter particles the better the non-slip quality of the industrial flooring surface, however, cleaning will become more difficult.
